    Sweet recruitment video

Very nicely choreographed to the music. I'm sure it has done the job of getting peeps into the squad.

That recruitment vid is brilliant . Lovely colours (filters??) and it really shows the game off so well. Great pace, beautiful skins plus a surprisingly rare setting. Well done. That is added to my favourites and I'm downloading B-17 now.

if you look at the software used at the end of the b17 video you'll see that the way he gets all the virations and after effects are created within the software,

Hey Syd? on the b-17 movie, how did you get it so the camera was on the truck and was moving with it? I want to be able to do that but it is proving really hard lol. By the way, i loved your Ad and i loved your b-17 movie.

Hi everyone. Thanks for commnets. I'm happy you like it. Sorry I didn't show up earlier.

neil_1821: As to writing tutorial. I have to say no. It's not that I don't want to. It's just I don't feel confident enough to do it. There are many better filmmakers than me and I've just started making Il-2 movies (I started making B-17 in january). After that there is a matter of my english. It's not my mothertounge and it's a problem of confidence as well. Last thing is that there are many, many turorials which I think are covering the topic enough.
My advise to you: Try to imitate on your own some interesting scenes you see in movies. I did it many times just in order to learn new stuff (My motto: "Learn from the best"). You can see some obvious influence of Maximum_Bob in my movies (I hope he's not angry ). You have to know the basics to invent new stuff (esspecialy the Il-2 game engine - play with static cameras and other stuff available in game). For instance everybody thinks that I use Motion Sketching for shaking effect (as everybody does), but in fact I'm using Randomiser (I hope this is the way it is called) in After Effects. Suprisingly I'm having much more control over the picture than when I was using Motion Sketch. I believe this is normal way: first you try to imitate and then you figure out something by yourself. And the last thing I would like to mention is music. PAY EXTREME ATTENTION TO IT. It is really important. Many film makers don't bother to take care of it. Try to play my movies without sound and you'll know what I'm talking about.
As to your questions about "B-17": It took me about 3 months to do it (with lot of breaks). At the begining of making this movie I was using FMB but then I started working with UberQuick Mission Generator (another Maximum_Bob idea ). It's really helpful when it comes to ground objects and scenery. And the fly through the B-17's effect was recorded from cocpit of P-51 with cocpit turned off (you can do it by pressing Ctrl+F1 or Shift+F1 - i don't remember). I also used my mouse in this scene to move around "camera".
Genuine_Ace: I believe you're refering to the scene in the last part. I flew over the truck in A6M2 Zeke with cockpit turned off (similar to the B-17 scene I wrote about above). Then with a help of Mouse Emulator I moved the camera down to view mountain and lighthouse.

Ufffff. That was the longest post ever. I hope I answered your qustions sufficently. If you have any other questions feel free and I will try to answer
P.S. Sorry for all the mistakes I did in this text
