I voted yes; but in reality I wouldn't pay unless the CD had applicable campaigns/missions for the maps.
BoE with no Spitfire campaigns? Which Europe would that be?

Also what would be nice is the ability in FMB to change the labels of place names on the maps. An example of this would be for the Extreme_One RAF campaign. Being able to change "Gulf of Finland" to "English Channel" and add "Isle of Wight" for example would be great.

I like the idea's of the maps there. I'd personally like a map of the South coast of the UK, mainly Sussex! I know BoB is on the way but till then it would be nice to fly a Spit of Hurri over where I live and where great aerial battles once took place.
I think for the pacific, India and Burma we'll get maps with PF (I'd be disappointed if we didn't).
I'd pay but I'd expect some new planes as well unless we got a seriously large amount of maps and missions/campaigns.

I voted no, oleg should release the map creation program to the public without having to pay thousands for the liscense.
The community members should build the meshes for free, many of us are experienced in fs2004 cfs1 2 3 mesh creation. And can learn olegs map creation tool with ease.
Let oleg decide what guidelines poly limits belong in the game and have the final word what goes into the game. That way we can finally add some maps with limited runway spawns for 262s. 1-3spawns for a me262 base so everyone doesnt select the jet in scripted dogfight servers.
With small square maps, we need alot more maps to keep the sim interesting

FOR WHOM VOTED NO:
everybody is free to vote ...
Nevertheless, reading the comments it appears that a tremendous need is expressed out there OLEG, and indeed, that is the market's voice !! The voice of your customers, the only ones you should listen to:
PAY FOR IT OR NOT THEY WANT MAPS , MAPS, MAPS
As far as I'm concerned I say: yes for an add-on...Let me know where I have to send the check !!!!!

For me it depends on what the 'bang for buck' would be... factors include level of detail, historical accuracy, number of maps included in the set, what the exact coverage of the maps was...
For example, I'm not going to pay â£25 for a map of North Africa alone - the whole Mediterranean and North African TOE on the other hand I would probably pay that much for.

There would have to be some pretty damn good maps in there, but yes I'd pay if that were the case.
