Hey folks, new here. Just wanting to get some info before I get started. What do you guys recommend on my question? Download the game, or go out a buy it?

Second, what steps do I need to follow. Get all the patches or do I need only 4.08? Guess I should tell you that I'm wanting to get 1946.

Thanks folks. And glad to be here with you all.

    Welcome here Boeing!

Go for the DVD Version... it comes with an extra disk, containing information on Mr.Maddox upcoming project...

(Well, it should come with that extra disk, dunno where you are, and where you gonna buy it, but it should come with that extra disk....

Patch to 4.08m is currently all that you need.
(Though 4.09m maybe just about 2 weeks away)

    Have Fun!

Suggest you buy it. The download would be very long and if it doesnt work you will be unhappy.

Alos ubi downloads use a third party installer called boontybox which requires surgery to remove from your computer if you dont want it there

My buddy and I got ours from Wal-mart, I might add that you don't need to run it with a disk, a big plus for me!

Definitely get the American DVD version.
disk not needed in the drive, no hours long dodgy download with often French site for support...

AND you'll have the BoB preview DVD

My local Best Buy here in CT has it, so I see no reason to believe yours at least can't get it. You can also order the DVD online (More than one way to skin a cat!)

I keep the FB AEP and PF originals as backups...

Better save than sorry, and they don't take up that much space
