I could not end my career at base in Brisbane which was my home. I had received a mission that I didn't see (patrol Celebes Sea). It took half the night to get home and I was not about to do it again. I opened the file in your game saves folder (My Documents\SH4\data\cfg\SaveGames by default), you should see a number of folders for your game saves. Open up the highest numbered one, then open up the CareerTrack.upc file in Notepad or Wordpad. Changed current objective to a blank space and finished successfully. I believe that this will be a good way to get rid of some of the REALLY **** missions you sometimes get. I will experiment further.

I was glad to come back to this forum but from now on I'll just keep my thoughts to myself. Now you'll never know how I can make a sub hover 20 feet above a high sea.

I dont think anyone here was trying to snub you Sgt Starbuck. It may be that no one that has stoped to read this has had that problem....yet!

Thank you for the post. It is good information and if I ever start a career in Brisbane, I am sure it will come in handy. I read your first post and did not comment as I didn't think I had anything to contribute as you "said it all".
