hummmm, I think SH4 has to be pacific if they do another Uboat/atlantic based game it would be like SH3.5 and would mean 3 Uboat games in a row for the franchise, not a smart move.
You can forget expansion for SH3 unless its embedded in to SH4, they could certainly add sub AI for wolfpacks and milchcows, more units ports and radio messages etc.
I wouldnt expect destroyer command 2 and SHVI rolled in to one. If they added playable destroyers to the atlantic theater and not the pacific that would be silly, if they it did for both, it leaves them with too much work.
I will be happy if they make SH4 pacific but add extra units and tweaks to SH3 (backwards compatible) so that SH3 is technically up to date and standard with SH4 in terms of looks and features.

For multiplayer it would be cool to be able to have people in the same sub. Being able to move about from station to station that someone else isn't occupying.

I do agree. I would prefer the updated SHIII as specified in the start of this thread. Especially to get the wolfpack mode running. Also, When Ubisoft releases it, I will buy it, whichever version they produce. I have had so many interesting game hours, and also so much fun reading the forum discussions. And I have no problems with game stability, since I learned not to use the crew quick assignment buttons in the lower right square in the Crew Assignment Menu.

I'd definitely prefer an expansion pack / bug fix for SHIII. The game as it is is not bad, the setting all right. As many pals here already stated it is some essentials that originally were announced for SHIII that's missing. Creating a new game - and probably inventing the wheel anew all over again with all the snares and snafus - will take so much more time.

are they mad? serious...an expansion Pack for sale? With things they promised already for release? With things the COMMUNITY added already because the devs didnt do what they should have???

Sorry Guys, this Poll is a joke...no one of the two points is a choice. At least not for me.
Bring in a free ADD-ON for SH3 with all the things you promised (i.e. Milkcows, multiplayer)
and THEN i will at least think about buying SH4.

I will buy SHIV. I want to compare it to a book I am currently about half way through called "Silent Running: My Years on a WWII Attack Submarine" by James Calvert. So far, it's a good read.
