One of the British model mags back in the '70's had an article by a Swedish guy who showed how he set up simple dioramas on the roof of his sedan and, quite effectively, used the natural background and perspective to make some very convincing shots.
Beats gathering dust on the shelf before some corpulent house cat terminates the model.
Nicely done, especially with the rigging. It looks real.
I would suggest cropping the picture a bit next time to put the subject more into the focus - there's a lot of negative space with the sky that draws attention to the fact that one corner of the wing is out of frame - and being held by your hand
I added another subject to draw the focus away from that. You could also photograph on a day where there are more clouds to draw your attention.

But it's all about the illusion. I'm experimenting which is fun.
