Yeah, good patch and all but the crush depths still need ironing out...

Like the fact that the VIIC and the VIIC/42 seem to have the exact same depth, judging by how the files are.

The different VIICs don't have the possibility for different depth. They're all the same. From VIIC to VIIC/42, the whole point of which I would have assumed was its greater depth.

one thing that i am still a bit miffed, why wont they put some ships in the ports i mean kmon there had to be something.......... im in the mid of my 10th patrol (jan 3rd 1941) and have just entered liverpool harbour (i was patrolling near this area so decided to take a look) to find a couple of defending PT boats and nothing else.

surely it cant be this quiet??

also on a positive note, i like the bases showing up when i zoom up close in the F5 map screen. but it does seem to cripple my pc when i zoom on scapa!!

What is the actual range for the electric torps?

The patch notes say this has been corrected, but they still say 1.8 kilometers.

    I agree!!!

Dev's Please give us some port traffic!!!

I don't want to use any mods that alter the cfg's, cause they aren't officially supported so I'm outta luck.

I think it would seriously add some much needed excitement to the campaign game.

Sneaking into an enemy port should be very dangerous but extremely rewarding, just like it was in real life.

1.3 seems really good for me.

Graphics are smoother in my opinion than with 1.2 patch. The added help tools are really neat especially used with Wazoos guide Iam getting to a new level with SHIII.

Port trafic would be nice indeed but most of all I miss Wolf Packs, especially now that Iam reading Iron Coffins by Herbert Werner.

Only bug I have, is that all the other ports show on map except Scapa Flow

I was pretty surprised to see a post from Nico at Subsim.com which says (definitively) that the SCR layer of the campaign files has not been fixed in this v1.3 patch. Nico is the person who (along with Jace) discovered and fixed this critical Escort Spawn bug in the v1.2 and earlier game. Nico's post says that he is currently busy again making a repair for this critical issue, and will release a bug fix for it later today.

    Thanks for the patch.

I agree port traffic is needed, i sailed into Gibraltar in late 43.

Guess what?, no traffic, i was sitting in the middle of the harbour on the surface and the gun batteries never even opened up.

I get this error when installing the patch:

    C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Campaigns\Campa ign\Campaign_LND.mis: unknown version.

I do have several mods installed. One is the 2.0 World Expansion mod. Does anybody know a fix for this?

    Edit:
I renamed Campaign_LND.mis to Campaign_LNDxxx.mis and tried again. Then it says that Campaign_RND.mis is an unknown version. So, I decided to move all the files in that Campaign folder to a backup folder. And now it says that data\cfg\Main.cfg is an Unknown version.

I'm guessing that this is caused my some mods. Do we have to re-install everything from scratch? I assume so...

My understanding was they fixed the Bug that didn't spawn the correct ships. There was never a problem with the SCR file.
