Scenario 1: Venice (Wanted) just now.
Full lobby, and I have the misfortune to be in a game full of "inexperienced" players who are all running around spamming 150 and 250 point kills. Despite this I persevere. Thanks to being noobed and having targets poached I hit a losing streak. Still I decide not to lower myself to their level and instead take the patient approach. I see my target, he stuns another pursuer, I take my chance, enter the b lend group he's standing beside and drop a smoke bomb. I let the lock meter fill for the focus bonus and then poison him. Incognito Hidden Focus Poison Slow) x2 and my work is done.
The other pursuer that he had just stunned gets straight back up and knifes him in the heart.
ALL THAT and I get shafted, and with only 30 seconds to go all I can do is run up to somebody to get a discreet kill x2.
Scenario 2: Antioch (Wanted) last night.
The session begins, I tear off in the direction of my target to try and get the First Kill bonus. As I approach my target my pursuer also approaches me. He hasn't had the sense to slow down on the approach and runs up to me with the red triangle above his head. I time it absolutely right so both he and my target are near me and I drop the smoke bomb and oblige him with a stun and then poison my target. My stunned pursuer gets back up and kills my poisoned target. Inside only 30 seconds of the game beginning!!!
And this is not isolated, on two more occasions last night within the first minute of the game started I had my targets poached.
THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING WITHIN THE FIRST 60 SECONDS.
It is annoying when it happens to me as the pursued. When the game starts and I stun my pursuer and then straight away another red light flashes up, the 200 point stun having put me in 1st place and instantly saddled me with another pursuer.
I am not the melodramatic type, not one of those on these forums who constantly whines about everything, but I am now at the point of losing my patience with the developers. We are now six weeks on from the release of the game and still we have no patch for the MANY bugs that affect the core gameplay mechanics of Revelations multiplayer.
Unlike some I do not expect the developers to be able to fix things overnight, but enough time has passed now. And considering I actually sat through the ten minutes of credits at the single player game in which literally 100s if not 1000s of Ubisoft employees and many other people of absolutely no importance are credited this begs the question why are so many people involved in one game yet it can be released with so many bugs in it?

Loss of confidence in the developers on my part.
So what? Who am I? But I can't be the only one who feels this way. The above reasons are why I have essentially abandoned Wanted for the less skilled but also far less frustrating Deathmatch mode.
* Pienza and Alhambra were almost universally panned and aside from a minority were deeply unpopular, and yet all the maps in Reveleations essentially follow the format of these two. Reveleations map makers it's time for a change in direction back to the more popular maps like Rome and Sienna.
Not necessarily. Wouldn't you'd say you'd prefer it if Discreet to Silent took a little less time to build up on the ground, along with the meter drain being removed?Originally posted by Redbanana27:
Nothingwrong with the detection meter works far better than in ACB.
Maps can be annohing but i dont play wanted because... well it kinda sucks because everyone just runs.
I know I would.
That way, people would spend more time on the ground, and people wouldn't be so harshly punished when their target is a runner, because they could at least charge up their meter and run to where their target would turn up for a Silent or Incognito.
The contract system is really annoying sometimes. I'll stun a pursuer and go on my way... only to be stabbed in the back by the same guy I stunned 30 seconds earlier.
It's really horrible in Deathmatch though. I got stunned twice because of a guy mashing stun next to me because he knew I didn't have a contract up.
