    Thank you all.

    I must confess, I'm running out of walls.

    Love the brens and the SVT - sniper Elite heh heh.
    IIRC those leaf and drum sights on the Bren go all the way up to 2000 yds.Are they still .303 or have they been doctored to 7.62?.
    I'd love to strip one down for old times sake, can you send it over - just one - promise I'll give it back.......

    They are.303 and I must say I'm amazed by the quality of design and manufacture. One can clearly see the Chechs were technologicaly very advanced at the time.
    All in all Bren is nothing else but licence built Zbroyevka.

    When I said "Running out of walls", here's a proof.

    Rifle wall:

    Sub machine (assault) gun wall:

    Machine gun wall:

    Now I need to sort out a security. One medium tremor and I can start buying new furniture.

    @Messervy;

    If you had your collection here in the U.S., "Live and Legal", ....you would have a VERY saleable lot of merchandise!!!

    Now do you know why you have many here drooling????

    If Messervy had this collection over there in the U.S in "Live and Legal" condition he would live on a remote fortified ranch with hundreds of people worshipping him as "the enlighted one", and it would be surrounded by hundreds of people wearing clothes with the letters FBI and ATF on them.

    His followers would spend all day building watchtowers and digging trenches around the ranch while they also build a huge spaceship like vehicle for their "voyage to the planet Sumuru"

    Thank you for " "

    Yes, I've noticed that the prices in U.S. are extreme at least, but ten times the European value is a huge overestimate.

    Anyway, with this financial crisis I found it much better not to keep the money in a bank.
    Interest rates are down, while this hardware gains more and more value.

    @ Celeon

    I knew you'd come up with something like that.

    NOT AT ALL!!!!

    You’re not allowing for the current “Legal Climate” in the U.S.!!

    A few years ago, legislation was passed that ELIMINATED any new Full Auto registrations. This means that while possession of Full Auto weapons is legal in most U.S. states, ……the available “pool” of available, LEGAL weapons is now a fixed, finite number: …..And every year some of those simply wear out.

    The result of this “artificial shortage” is that the value of those legal weapons that are still serviceable has skyrocketed!! Weapons that sold for $500 ten years ago now command a $5000 pricetag!

    Right now, in the U.S., a clean, properly registered MG-34 is worth between $15,000 and $20,000!!!

    Perhaps you're right.

    I'm aware of the "climate" over there, but I never realy gave this a second thought.

    I got this book and was stunned by the prices:

    Here is what it says about MG-34:

    BTW: Thanks for rapid response on my PM!

    @Celeon;

    Not necessarily: .....As a group, the people who own legal, properly registered automatic weapons in this country have the "cleanest" legal "track record" of any group of firearm owners in the U.S.! .....And the BATF and FBI are well aware of this.

    ....But there are quite a few collectors who suddenly found themselves "Machinegun Millionaires” as a result of the legislation that I previously mentioned!
