Well im not trying to say they are bad, but whats so special about them? What are they good at? i just flew a FW 190 A9 and i didnt really like the way he behaves on turns, i couldnt push the stick half the way or he would stal and roll.

Maybe its just because im used to fly the BF-109 and P-51's.

i would like to know the Cons and Pros about the Fw 190 =)
    thank u

Fw190 is not a turner, don't turn with it. Turning is however more acceptable with early A4 or A5/6.

Instead of turning, climb and dive. Fw has excellent dive and terminal speed, you can outdive pretty much everything but P47.

Always try to gain alt advantage over opponent before engaging, and then dive on him, blast away and climb back to safety. Many people say this is just an excuse for a poor plane, but Fw190 has excellent high speed elevator, which enables you to make accurate snapshots at speeds of 700kph, which is completely impossible by 109s for example, due to elevator lock. In fact - high speed elevator is one of the best characteristics of Fw190 IMO. This way Fw190 can use his alt advantage much more effective.

    And, btw:

    Speed is life.

I am sure other dedicated Fw riders will be able to give you better points, but you can read some of them here:

    scroll down to Fw tips.

If you will be patiently enough to learn to fly this bird properly, I am sure it will become your primary mount.

FW are fast, precise and mean. Yoou have one of the highest instantaneous turn rate fromany plane. But use this only upt to 90 degrees or you will eat dust. It is a suberb deflection shooter due to capability of fastly pointing your nose in another direction and 6 guns. Most your kills won't be made when you are comming from 6 o clock on enemy and turning with him. Most will be made on high deflection angles and slashing moves. Never ever gtet under 400 kph in turns, never get under 320 kph on climbs.. try to keep about 500 during most combat. Enjoy the capability of changing course 180 degrees on a teep dive at very last second and pulling up at 780 kph when everything else will test ground damage modelling.

Just make everything easy on controls and every mosve as brief as possible.

The thing I like about them is there roll, you can change direction so quickly, its got a very high cruise speed, really quick on the deck, massive firepower, the engine can be managed to get allot of power and not overheat. They also look like pretty darn mean!

I totally agree with oldman, your kills will be slashing and high deflection shots at high speed. The 190 is allot about getting the getting in position by shadowing and opponent and waiting for them to allow you to attack. Its also allot about patience, not being fixated by the kill but stalking and zooming away at high speed after an attack. Its very much a team plane but if sensible you can loan wolf in a D9 Its probably the most uber plane in the game despite what people say. You just need to be gentle with the stick, it can roll incredibly fast but turning manouvers bleed allot of speed and to sharp a climb angle also bleeds speed to quickly.

A good tactic with turn opponents is instead of turning with them use your speed to climb up above and over them, do a roll and come down on the turning plane from above, effectivly cutting there turn in half and without you turning at all.

Its an easy plane to fly but very hard to get good in. Takes allot of practice offline in the QMB.

amazing, this plane does have a amazing accuracy when diving at superb speeds >_> i tried to dive and see when the wigns would break up, and the plane didnt even moved till he reached 900KMH wich is amazing, at 1200kmh the wings started to break wich is amazing again o_o

But its a bit hard to play with this bird on a quick mission 1vs1, the enemy will keep chasing you and he will always know where you are, so forget the surprise attack, and it takes a while to get some speed and get far away enought to climb and get down on the enemy.

I prefer the BF-109, but i believe that these FW-190 are a pain in the butt on online games, since we can be mind our own business and suddenly VOOM! a Fw-190 dives on us and rips a wing off.

Use a bf109 team mate and this problemis solved.. the bf109 wll make sure your enemy keeps his mind on something else... so you can put yourself in an angle that he will have no scape. Another good tatics is to use your 190 to drag enemy (since it is VERY fast and oll well) and let the bf109 bag it.

Wolf ive been flyin the beta 7 all night and i can tell you that if this is the final then you will be happy with the results, the guns are 30% more stronger than 3.04 and the fm is very nice to the 190s they actually feel like a true plane.
