One piece of advice, Forbidden1. Don't be to quick to give up on SHIV. If you encounter some problems, come back here and let us know. We've got a great bunch of guys here more than willing to lend a helping hand.

You'll find issues, as I did, when I first ran it. I had to put it asside for a while until some of the (many) bugs got worked out. I'm also a bit prejudiced, since I'm used to the SH3 interface, deep dives, tonnage war, technological lead, etc. I haven't run GWX yet, but am looking forward to it when I get around to replacing my very old computer. That's one big point: Make sure your computer is decent by the game's requirement standards. The CPU I had was borderline, which ment annoying twitchy graphics etc. But overall, the deveopment team added a lot to SH4 that SH3 never had. If you can get past the bugs, with a decent system I think you'll find it enjoyable.
