    GT182,
Thanks, I'm having fun with the photos.
    Ratek,
I'll send you a "private" with my email...
Next time you go out on patrol, take screenshots and send the ones to me that you would like "old-fashionized" along with your email.
I'll send them back to you and you can then post them with your log. I have been reading Runyan's log (U-99 log)...It's AWESOME reading....I'm hooked. All he needs now is a couple of old fashioned type photos to go with it. I'm going to do the same thing....Going to start fresh with a brand new boat and crew (with Horst, my cameraman of course), keep a log with attached photos. If anyone else wants to do the same...send me a private with your email and screenshots and I'll mail them back to you in stylized 40's format.

I have updated hardware drivers and have put on a fresh install of SH3 w/1.4 patch.
Will attempt to keep a log of my new command much the same as Runyan's U-99, but will take along Horst, my photographer.
Realism settings will be on high, with the exception of the "God's Eye View". This is for Horst and his picture taking, however during combat and submerged, no one is allowed up top.
    MODS used(aside from 1.4 patch):
    - Have brought along extra gramaphone music and radio programs from early war years.
    - enhanced smoke effect.

Have just completed the naval academy and will report back once I get my boat and orders...

I'm not playing so much at the moment, but I will take you up on it.

Just started 4th career (first 2 ended prematurely, 3rd was a 20 patrols before I decided to retire, did not want to push my luck too far.) this time from Lorient. IXB slow to dive but gotta love that many torps.

Nice picture with the ice, I really like it. I do hope someday to see it in the game, not just on a make up.

I've never been up north, so at first I thought the shot with the ice was in-game. Very nice.

The sepia shot with the pennants is nice.

Funny, pennants are one thing I clearly remember from Aces of the Deep that SH3 does NOT have.

Thanks runyan. When I get my boat out on patrol, I'll try to keep a log like you. I'm going to put my cameraman, Horst, to work with photos of course, but what a wonderful idea you have. I've been reading yours daily.
I think we should now have a heading in bold letters in the forums section for players "u-boat logs". Each could post his or her daily log of their patrols.
    Titled "U-xxx Log (player name)":
Ive read some really good stories and it would be really kind of neat to have a spot on the forums here specifically for logs.
Haven't gotten my orders or boat yet....am waiting. (actually work has kept me extremely busy the last couple of days and has not allowed me to sit down and sail on my first patrol)
Hope I get a good boat and good assignment.
