    Hello, I was wondering if pacific fighters are an expansion pack or is it a seperate game.
    Sorry if thread like this already exists.
    Thanks in advance.

    PF can be run as a standalone game or as part of a merge with Forgotton Battles + Ace's Expansion Pack.

    If stand-alone version installed, can only fly with other stand-alone versions. Same for merged version.

    UBI and HyperLobby http://hyperfighter.sk both have stand-alone and merged lobbies.

    You can also have a stand-alone and merged install on your system. As a matter of fact, you can have an AEP, PF stand-alone and merged install on your system all at the same time as well. Very few AEP servers these days, a little more PF stand-alone servers, but the masses are mostly flying the merged version.

    Welcome aboard and good hunting.

    Yeah waht slick says..

    IL-2 -- original game ->stand alone
    FB -- standalone
    AEP -- expansion for FB
    PF -- standalone game (may be installed over FB+AEP, so you can have pacific front and european too in one game)

    Do yourself a favor and get The Forgotten battles GOLD pack which is FB and the AEP combined.. if you cant get it combined then get them seperate but get them. Then get PF and do the merged install.

    PF can indeed run seperatly. But, if you don't have FB and AEP, you are missing about 70 to 80% of the fun. For your own sake, try to get FB and AEP somewhere as suggested before.
