Any of you Pro Throttle owners having issues since installing AEP? All the sudden my throttle stops responding in the game, as if it wasnt even there, cant even assign keys with it.

Works fine in windows, all calibrated correctly and everything. It doesn't ever quit during gameplay, but when I join a new game sometimes, it no longer responds.

It doesnt happen all the time, just kinda random.

I have the complete CH rig myself, and I have noticed an occasional inability to select some joystick and throttle button settings, particularly when I also have an axis assigned to the same function (flaps, brakes, elevator trim) in the HOTAS section.

My flaps warning horn likes to go off without the flaps being engaged(button or axis), too. So far, it has been merely annoying, but I may have to reinstall everything to get it to work right (I just installed AEP over 1.22).

    cheers

Ran some training missions last night after just installing A.C.E. (did a complete uninstall/reinstall). WEP now kicks in at the end of the throttles throw, not sure if it worked that way before. But it worked beautifully, even remembered to save the .trk. What a great sim.

    Hi Bamatt,

Yes...I have experienced similar random non-reponse of the throttle with my CH Throttle when joining a new game in AEP.

The last time it happened, I pressed 'escape' and had a look in the controls menu in AEP, and found that the axis for the throttle had been reassigned, if memory serves me correctly, to the U-axis instead of the Z-axis (or was it the other way round?). Whichever it was, the reason for the non-response was that AEP was re-assigning the throttle axis.

So the solution was to re-assign the throttle function back to the the correct axis, done while still playing the sim.

But like you say it is a random event.
Hope this is of some help.

    Cheers,
    Baron.

Haven't had this problem in AEP. I lost my key assignments a few times, but attributed it to the addition of a few more USB devices.

My suggestion would be to make a Control Manager(v3.0) map and use this instead of the in-game key assignments.
