I've played Brotherhood on the XBOX and could never get over how insanely crappy the graphics were, even in 1080P. I was so incredibly elated last night when I loaded up Brotherhood on my gaming rig PC and maxed out all the video settings, along with 16x Anisotropic Filtering in 1920x1200 and finally was able to play the game the way it was meant to look. No grainy, distorted textures with jagged edges on the screen. No choppy framerates when panning the camera around Rome. I could not be happier with the image quality.

Just had to share my joy with my PC brothers.

Haha, and that's why we PC gamers prefer the PC. It's just so much better

However, I seriously wished that AC:B would run with Dx11... Kinda bummed me out to see it use Dx9, even though that's like 2 years old...
Also, though the graphics are awesome, it still seems to be pretty much the same as AC2, which I think is a shame aswel.
As if this version was just a really quick port to get AC multiplayer to the PC... Which of course rocks, but still, for 45 euro's, they could've took a little longer to pollish the game for PC standards

DX 9.0c came out in August 2004. Much older. You're probably referring to DX 11, though. If so, just ignore my post.

Dude... WHAT?? Please no... Even longer than all this time?? ACB would have been a thing of ancient history then.

@Razrback16: Of course, to run it like you describe, you need to be a very rich person. Anyway, good for you, of course.
I myself played at everything around "3", but that's cause mine's no gaming rig.

Oh I definitely would've liked to see DX11 as well, but Ubi sticking with DX9 was solely because of the console limitations. Their lack of the ability to upgrade is passed on to us as an additional handicap unfortunately.

What are your hardware specs? The engine AC2/ACB are running with aren't really all that sophisticated. Now granted, I do have a pretty nice system, but most mid-range vid cards can handle AC2/ACB without much trouble on max settings.
