    2) Game difficulty settings.
Perhaps maybe adding set difficulties for a new game. Such as:
    Easy -Push over
Medium -Think you got what it takes
    Hard -This is hell.
    Extreme -Death wish
Real-Time -Difficulty changes and adapts to your skill level
Good suggestion but might I add...
Incredibly-Super-Dooper-Hard -Play game at the original difficulty level.

Boy, FC:I just seems kind of inferior to Halo 2 huh? I mean, great try Ubi, you got close, but no Halo 2.
    News Flash:
This is NOT Halo, nor is it Ghost Recon, or Rainbow Six etc, It's Far Cry: Intstincts, and can't be compared to Halo, nor should it be.

Ubi have done a **** fine job given the limits of the BBB, and delivered a engaging game as a new experience, not a clone of another game. Just because it comes from Ubi, doen't mean they built it to compete with Halo.

What is with this continual comparison to bloody Halo. I love Halo okay, but it's not the be-all and end-all of FPS for crying out loud. Give it a rest please, and just take the game as it is. A **** fine FPS that is in todays time slot (not on some other planet in some other galaxy far far away and a complete SCi-Fi. style game)

It's set in the tropical Islands and could quite well be a very plausable possibility. Yes, it's a little 'follow the leader' style, but I'm having HEAPS of fun, opperative word being FUN. And I'm certainly NOT comparing it to any other game.

That's not a good way to experience a game. One needs to approach it as a first experience and see where it takes you. Follow the story that's laid out for you and see how you can get through it and do so in a manner that uses as much of the programming the developers have put in it for you. In short, have FUN.

So please, drop the Halo is God thing . . PLEASE . . !

No offense to anyone, just my thoughts, and probably several others thoughts also.?? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Hey, I never said it wasn't a fine game. And I wasn't expecting a Halo game right out of the box, I've played the PC version and I honestly just found the Xbox one to fall short.

I get sick of people on these forums throwing out their "Far Cry rulz, Halo 2 suxorz!!!!1"

All I'm saying is yes, Ubi did a great job with Far Cry: Instincts. But there are so many simple things I think that could have made it better and would have easily made it good competition to some first-rate action FPS games. I can name some that I've noticed, if you'd like:

-No southpaw - this doesn't really concern me, but how hard is it to configure the controllers?
-No co-op - I was hoping there would be, as sitting with friends and having them watch you go feral just isn't as much fun or engaging.
-No skill level changes - granted some parts are really difficult, but just like any other game, there are those who take to it easily and those who don't. After hours on XBL, how easy will it be to beat the campaign again?
-Glitches - do I need to say more? I am having audio glitches that are ridiculous for such a game to have, no matter if the clock on the Xbox is wrong or if there was a manufacturing error. It's ridiculous.

I'm not berating the game by saying it's no Halo 2. Any FPS has a ton to live up to these days against Halo, and after really thinking about it, it doesn't make sense that there aren't some simple and effective things in FC:I that would make it a top-notch game in my book.

The graphics are definitely the best aspect of the game, and you can tell they push the Xbox to the max, just like Halo 2 does.

Im sorry to inform you that Halo 2 does little more then dissapointall the people who were hyped up for it. At least FCI isnt a big let down, I have been playing it since the release date and I am still enjoying it.

On the suggestions, there is only one thing which I really want, although it is probably to late to add it, and that is 4 players per xbox when playing system link.

    Torches, campfires, flashlight...

    A 'crossbow' as a weapons option...Good to stick someone to a tree...hehehe

Of course, last but not least...a wider assortment of 'brushes' would be welcome...

dont get me wrong ubisoft did a awesome job for the map editor but i would like to be able to create the same map as ubi made so stuff like this :

    1. zip lines
    2. gun turrets
    3. maybe make caves and more painting textures like the dark rock texture or some more paints to choose from. maybe evena blood trace paint so you can make it look like a lot of people died on that spot or whatever.

    4. offcource some more 3d models to choose from actually i expect that they will release some downloadable 3d objects making one 3d object is not that hard for a new map they offen design tons of new 3d models so why not ?.
