new driver problem ! | Forums

hi

i got geforce fx5200 .
and was happy with the driver version 69.** as i donut remember what verion
excactly it was .

and today i installed the 71.89 driver ! and i wish i didn't !!

i know that the newer drivers will increase the card capabilities ! not reduce them !

i got il2 fb + AEP.
and it was just great with the old driver !but now i can't play the game is too too slow and loose alots of fps

at the old driver i set the game to use directx instead of the opengl !
even that i know the nvidia supports the opengl more than the directx !but the game was faster at the dx

today the game making problems with alomost all the graphics options

i've tried them all but seems there is a big problem that i donut know !


so shall i reinstall te old driver or something ?!
if u can help with this i will be grateful

i've got
windows xp sp2
pentium 2000 mega/hertz
512 ddr rams
gigabte motherboared

and the geforce fx5200

If you donâ´t like them,why have them.Just install those drivers who works best for you,I would.I donâ´t have any FX card but Ti4600 and tried those 71.XX driver but didnâ´t do any good for me or IL2 so i reverted back to 66.93 wich works flawless for me.

the new drivers are only really for issues with SLI setup, so u dont need them for a fx or any other single cardsetup for that matter. Ok :-) just roll back the driver.
