Not WW2 but ive been aboard the USS Growler in NY, that was really cool....er...yeah thats about it.

Uboat.net is a fixture for SH3 practitioners. There are a number of links on that site to the Uboot on display in Laboe in Germany. I was on Bowfin while in Hawaii in October. About 15-20 yrs. ago I was on the Russian Foxtrot sub when it was docked in New Westminster BC. It is not strictly a WWII boat, but it is for all intents a German type IX. It was built using captured plans.

I hope this will be beneficial to everybody if I post it here. The thread contains two ships: an Oberon and a 205 submarine classes from the 1960s and recently (about ten years ago) struck from reserved status.
