As for your problem. I'd start with checking your keybinds.. its under options. For instance: you start with keys "W, A, S, D" for moving forward,left, back and right.
If you mean that you move without touching a key, you'll want to recalibrate your joystick, or even better remove any input device except the keyboard and the mouse to start with.
If you just don't know where to go but can do so "technically", search this forums for "training" level or walkthroughs.
To play online (later on) be sure to get up till patch v1.33.

As i already said two posts above:
I suppose you are still in the (starting) bunker. There is only one way to go and its pretty easy to find (since its indoors and small), so you really should be able to figure it out.If you just don't know where to go but can do so "technically", search this forums for "training" level or walkthroughs.
If not, post a screenshot of your "furthest" position and we can talk you through from there.
Or anyone else feels like doing a vid..?

Maybe for some reason you have overlooked the "written instructions" that you are given during the first steps? If so you would perhaps have a hard time going through that first "hole in the wall" where you have to crouch first (default: C), or that place where you have to go prone (default: V) and crawl forward. Later on you need to pick up the pistol to be able to proceed.
