I am having so much trouble trying to login to xbox live. I follow the instructions to enter name, email and password. The email and password I'm entering is the one I use for my hotmail account. Is that right? And should the name be my gamertag? It keeps giving me an error saying that my windows live id is invalid. I've tried everything! Thanks! Amy

Try the email address you use for your Xbox Live account and the password you use for Xbox as well.

I would try contacting xbox live support. They should be able to guide you step by step and help you trouble shoot this problem.
