    I agree with the comment about the lighting. It's all about the lighting. I was doing it at home in my living room which has a huge window, all errors. Closed my blinds and it was too dark, all errors. Did it at my parents house which has a large window, but no direct sun, same thing. Finally when I got back home, I put it in our basement, which has widows at a higher level than the camera and it works perfectlym morning or at night, must have over head lighting. I sweat like crazy, get 94% and she keeps adjusting til I'm almost dead, I usually do workout from 45 to 60 minutes. One thing for sure, if you chose burn instead of tone, you will get a much better work out, oh and I chose weight loss as my goal, 15 mins of non-stop excercising. Also it makes a difference how your hands are for your arms, for example, they have to actually slap on your legs ect like hers does, or when you do the hop, make sure your hands touch your shoulders when you come down. Also when you do the turn, make sure your hand is behind your back sitting the exact way as hers or you will here "your arms" I know it's crazy, but it does work. I came on here because I was frustrated on why when I chose the stability ball, it never gets used, even when I chose stomach and 60 mins?? So as I can see from other comments, I guess no sense choosing that, however, if I chose weights, she does use them, after 15 mins of hard cardio. I love it, except there are a lot of glitches for sure, like when you do the bridge she lifts her but and then sits up right away and stays there for the remainder and it tells you to keep moving and your are doing the same as her. Or the plank with the twist, on the right leg she kicks it out first, then in, on the left she doesn't kick it out first and when you do the same as her, it says to follow her, so if you do it without kicking you are OK, but the timings off. I have to turn my body side ways so the camera sees me lifting my body for side crunches ect. So if the camera says "get a move on", turn sideways so the camera can see you, like in the swim and make sure you do the extra kick and arm up, like double. It's crazy but the littlest thing matters. When you do the skip up and back, move your arms the same but hold them up and slow back and forth with your legs, it does make a difference and once you figure it out, the game is awesome. Exept when you chose to tone, I recommend if you want to lose weight, chose burn and you will get a good work out. One more thing, it would be nice if she told you when to change to the other arm or leg, it's hard to watch her and no get "follow" because if your head is sideways looking at her instead of looking straight in front, it will say "follow" it's that sensitive. Hope this helps.

    I've noticed that it all depends on the lighting and what you're wearing. I've noticed that sometimes my arms kind of blend in with the wall when I am exercising, but yes the constant your arms are wrong is annoying. However, I've gotten good workouts everytime I sweat my butt off and can really feel it work my muscles.

    I agree, I've been in the military for 10 yrs and recently had a baby. I thought that this game would be nice to ease back into things because I can't always get to the gym. I was wrong and feel ripped off as well. The only part I don't mind is the cardio portion.

    I have to say I'm really enjoying the game...I've had it for a week and have already lost 4 lbs. Once I worked out the lighting and wearing contrasting clothing (oh, and putting my cat in the bedroom) I'm getting 80-90% and my workout is changing up effectively. When I was having the arm error messages, it dawned on my that the sunlight was reflecting off my pasty arms and white shirt, so I went and changed my shirt to a colorful one and shut the blind and voila. I don't think everyone enjoys the same workout style, but so far...its the best for me. Wii Active didnt appeal to me...I found it boring and Wii Fit is fun, but no weight loss. So far, so good with Shape!

    I have alot of the same problems, it says im doing horrible and im doing just what she does on tv i get a 70-78 and nothing has ever changed in the workout i actually do better on the game when i go off camera i get all great jobs. if the company doesnt want to refund people money then im taking my game to gamestop where they buy used games at a discounted rate of course but something is better than feeling like youve been cheated.
