Ok, I too am/was completely let down with this workout. It just seemed to me very misleading.

After giving it a chance for 2 weeks, sure I worked up a sweat but there is nothing new that I cannot do elsewhere, plus the fact I am not really working out w/ Jenny, well that really sux. I like her and thought having her there with me would be fun, but it's not even her voice.

    No silouette - again misleading.

Finding out this is the same game as My Fitness Coach - minus Jenny, the camera & about $40, I'd rather have My Fitness Coach considering I'm not working out w/ Jenny anyway.

Needless to say, I'll be sure to do more research on celebrity endorsed games like this. It's a shame really.......

Thank god I'm not the only one. I have been using this since just before New Years, and the arm thing is driving me nuts. I usually mute her. I feel I have to use it since I paid so much for it, but I really don't like it. I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only one is was disappointed that it actually wasn't Jenny and her voice. The game also seems to think I'm advanced in yoga. I'm almost 200 lbs, a lot of that being in my upper body. How do they expect someone like me who marked sedentary, to be able to hold myself up on the sides of my feet and one arm. I have found that for that side plank, if you just sit really still she will tell you you are doing fantastic. lol. I did have side crunches today, and because me chest is so large, and my floor is darker than the upper part of the house, it thought I wasn't moving, so I didn't get credit for that either. One more pet peeve about the game is her telling you to do a move where you are unable to see her, then her telling you to follow her repeatedly. How can I follow her when my head is on the ground facing away? I might call that number and complain. I just want them to hear some complaints so that maybe they could improve it at the very least. I feel better now. lol.

I have scoliosis and some limited spine movement and still like Your Shape. It does give me a good workout, which is the whole objective of the "game".

I think the word "game" is a misnomer. The word "game" implies you can win. As long as I am motivated to work out even 15 minutes, I feel I am already a winner. I'm not a gamer so perhaps that is why I feel the program is so successful - I'm not comparing Your Shape to gaming. Gaming has participants constantly striving for higher scores, bonus points and levels and eventually a win. Since I don't think of Your Shape as a game, I find it highly useful as a non-threatening fitness trainer.

As for those reminders of "Arms!" or "Legs!"... if my hands or feet go outside of the camera's view, even for a moment, it throws off the trainer. By simply moving over or moving forward a little to keep my hands and feet in view, my movements are recognized as ok. Another reason I get the reminders is if I don't keep up with the trainer. Once I sync my moves, the trainer says I'm ok again.

Maybe mine isn't working right then. I only get perfects and wonderfuls when I'm out of sync, or not doing it all. When I am perfectly in sync with her she tells me to follow her. My arms are always in screen when she tells me they are wrong, and off screen when she tells me they are right. I think that some of the exercises are very advance. They should have a beginner option for people like me, who have hardly ever exercised, or have no idea what some of the exercises are. I think it is a great idea, but they need to take some of these problems into consideration if they decide to make another in the future. Not that I would buy it, but for future users. Until I can find something I like that works for me, I mute her, blare my music, and try to follow her the best I can, and ignore the red messages. Seems to work better that way, I actually got 74% on my workout today.

I thought it was just me. I tried to adjust the lighting thinking that maybe it was picking up shadows but now I see from all of the responses the this thing is JUNK. I should have done my homework before purchasing. What at total waste of $70. Well if they are not willing to compensate us for this junk I say start a FACEBOOK/TWITTER/etc. campaign letting others not to buy this crap.

This game has been a joke. A huge waste of money and time. I have had the game since Christmas. My husband was kind enough to get it for me. I have had similar complaints as the ones listed, and the "trainer" is constantly off beat. I called the number, and aside from being told to move the camera from here to there to make it "see" me better, the music isn't intended for tempo, she isn't supposed to be on beat. I'm not supposed to keep in time with the music, I'm supposed to just keep in time with the "trainer". So, I wonder why turning the music off isn't an option since it's just there to annoy me... I was told that the jumping jacks can not be turned off. I don't want to do all that jumping. I guess that's just too bad for me. I was asked if I wanted him to note the complaint. I asked if they care. He told me no! I won't buy another UBISOFT product... and I'm telling EVERYONE---Don't buy this game!!!

First of all to the person who said they bought it because you were going to work out with Jenny...you need help.

Second I can see your point. I'm in only a week but it is repetative but has used the equipment i've asked it to. I think the major issue is lighting and background to those people who's motion it is not capturing. I was really frustratet at first too but then changed the lighting and it really helped. I'm going to keep playing around with the lighting and background vs. clothes colours. Alghtough I haven't done it I would also suggest setting up a few profiles with different areas of focus and selecting different types of focus ie strenght. Alghough the progress function may not work you will likely get different workouts.

I'm going to keep at it for a few weeks and see.

I surrendered and went back to "The Firm." I was frustrated and annoyed most of the time I used "Your Shape," which defeats the whole purpose of exercise.

First of all jroyale, I don't think anyone actually said that they bought it because they were going to work out with Jenny. Someone said that it sux that it's not really Jenny because they thought it would be fun to work out with her. I find that she is a pretty funny person from interviews I saw, so I thought it would be fun to work out with her too, but that wasn't why I bought it. I would like to know why they need help? Even if someone did buy it just to work out with her, what business is it of yours? This site is about the game and what people liked, or in most cases, didn't. Do you really need to come on and bash someone?
I don't how the game is going for you now, but after four weeks and trying every trick, I gave up on it. What made me give up was when I was trying to follow her, and I was finally getting your doing great, I put my neck out because I was actually doing it wrong. I hope it works better for you, and maybe next time you might think before bashing someone needlessly.

I have come to the conclusion that we should just enjoy the WII Your shape for what it's worth, and not complain so much about it. The fact is that we are moving! I may not be doing the exercises precisely right and the camera might not be positioned exactly right but the one thing that I can say is that this video has definately got me MOVING! And, it beats going to the gym especially when there is six inches of snow on the ground like we have right now here in Illinois. I have several complaints too but overall, I am exercising more than I have been in a long while. Take care. The only way to better a product is to have people like us test driving it..... and...in this case...at our expense.
