Yup, I play almost every day when I get off work and at different times during the weekend. I like to host games for others to play.
Its fun, you should give it a try.

stay away from normal, easy, or 8 player games! Seven other yahoos shootin torps all over the place. Last time i played I had crippled a troop transport and was waiting for tube one when, BAM! torpedo in my ****! 46 men dead, what a shame...

I play online almost every day after work. The single missions get too repetitive after a while. With multi-play you never know who you'll be playing with. Go for the harder missions, as they are more challenging and tend to draw in the veteran players that are more fun to play with.

If you want a fairly dedicated SH3 multi-player clan come join TAW. I recently joined and playing with members you know while on teamspeak with them is another experience by itself. You can communicate targets and such. Plus they sacrifice themselves occasionally for me to have a field day inside a convoy. Last night I racked up over 100k on a patrol in 44 with 6 escorts because the other members drew off the escorts while I snuck in. 2 Passenger Liners, and like 4 T3's with 2 escorts as clean-up for the guys that were helping me out.
If you're interested e-mail our CO at taw.audie@gmail.com He'll get the ball rolling for entrance into our clan.

I like to check out MP at least once a night to get a hunt going. It really is fun if you get a good bunch of skippers who have the patience to wait out the DC's and the strategy to play as a team...It's good stuff. I like meeting up with different people from all over the world.
I shy away from games filled with type XXI jockeys.....These guys sometimes end up being noobs who without any real stragety, tend to go in and fire off a million torps at 8000m and then bolt the game...Either after they blow their torps or when the slightest bit of "escort" trouble comes their way...Don't get me wrong...Steaming around in a XXI can be fun, if a mindless gunnin' and runnin' game is what you want. But I try not to mix XXI players with serious VII and IX skippers in an MP game.
TAW is also a good SH3 group to get into....
