I am posting this as MY PERSONAL OPINION!

Ok,we have a new episode of Assassins Creed. The forums were full of what it would contain,we even had a Beta up for grabs on the MP game.Ample time was available to ask questions on various forums as to what it would all be about. The game is released and what do we get??

Nothing but whines and whinges about it being too short and its "only an Expansion".Various demands for refunds or restitution by Ubisoft.Ok its not perfect, but then no game ever is,EVER!!

FFS!If you think you were shortchanged or "ripped off" by Ubisoft, then there is only one person to blame and thats you!If you didnt bother to research the game thren bought it expecting something that was never offered but couldnt be bothered to find out about,Then its your own Fault! So,PLEASE either play the game and enjoy it for waht it is,or sod off back to MOH or WOW!

I just love the "expansion pack" complaints. Apparently people don't know what an expansion pack is when they think a game that take upwards around 50 hours for 100% sync is nothing more than an expansion.

Why can't people express their feelings? If there are multiple threads being opened, and lots of people "whining" then obviously a lot of people feel this way. This game came out too early, in that it apparently has a lot of bugs. Personally, I have only encountered minor bugs, but there are many game breaking ones being discussed on the bugs forums. How about letting people have an opinion that isn't yours? Why must you attempt to suppress their views? I felt ok paying 60 USD for this game,(and aside from not being able to get my platinum trophy I still do,) but other people don't. Does that make them wrong? No, it is their opinion. Quit being a nazi and allow other people to have an opposing viewpoint.

All i am pointing out is that the vast majority of whines are down to people not researching the game in the first place.I would be the first to moan if my money was spent on a lame game.(it has,OP Flashpoint, since then i ALWAYS research my games well before buying)I am not supressing their views.I dont claim they are wrong. All i pointed out was that they got the game expecting something that they didnt get.IF they had researched it then thsat would have been avoided. Why join a forum then in the first post whine? As to the NAZI epithet,i may hold some right wing views but that doent make me a NAZI.But maybe by putting you against a wall when the Revolution happens, might make me smile. Then again it might not.I never claimed the game was perfect. My OP wasnt about bugs,do TRY and keep up and actually READ and inwardly digest my post before applying to me a slanderous political noncelementure! AND THATS MY OPINION!

I agree with those who say that the main story is a bit short and there aren't enough assassinating main characters, but there is SO MUCH more to the game. Copernicus missions, Cristina missions (I think thats what they are), small assassination (i.e. not story missions), the lairs of Romulus, and much more, most of which I haven't done yet. And to get 100% sync, I'm playing through the game again(just for fun) and to check there wasn't information I missed.

The game was short. Plain and simple. I did my research and didn't find anyone saying it would be shorter than AC2. I might have missed it, doesn't really matter. I payed my 60 bucks, and enjoyed the game. It goes right on the shelf next to AC1 and AC2 and looks real pretty. I think that I, and others, are allowed to feel that the game was short, buggy, and the videos on youtube led me to believe that I could do more with my recruits than I actually could, (case in point, their are recruits with bows and arrows, and one who looks like a bad-mama-jama with a mace.) Do I want a refund? Absolutely not! I enjoyed the game and I had a great time playing it. I only hope that the next installment is longer, and allows more customization all around. Let people whine, it is their right. I highly doubt Ubi pays too much mind to it anyways if it isn't constructive.

PS. I am a conservative and the Nazi party was Nationalist Socialist. They were left wing. Regardless of what the liberal history books say, their policies were left wing.

I think a few players of Brotherhood have legitimate complaints, but there are also a lot who are whining because the game's story mode isn't as long as the previous games.

Ignoring that there are more side missions, more variety in the enemies, a well-improved combat system, an expanded economic system, and a totally noew-to-the-series multiplayer component, yes, you could say this is an expansion pack.

But that's a lot to ignore.

People Who treat this as another linear AC game are missing the point. The series is increasing player freedom and I see the change as improvement.

25 hours story as dlc? Good luck with that
Can i just say while i'm absolutely in love with this game and play it all the time, i do have to say the story doesn't feel as "filled as it did in ac2. Let's compare
In AC:B you return home victoriously, your villa gets attacked, and you go out to get Cesare borgia and kill him.
In AC: 2 you are a teenage noble who is having the time of his life, your father and 2 brothers get killed and you swear to get the people that did this and along the way you become an assassin and start to uncover a massive conspiracy. AC:B is 9 sequences and AC: 2 is 14 sequences. All i'm saying is that the story doesn't feel necessary to continue to such an extent bt i still love this game and love the rebuilding system, the assassin recruits and the multiplayer. Hands down my game of the year.
