Commiserations England. So sorry to hear of the circumstances of the draw.
Good stuff US. I always like the US teams in rugby and soccer World Cups.

    South Korea - good start.

Haven't seen much yet but am following the results. Looking forward to NZ versus whoever it is on whatever day and time they play.

Also looking forward to the Australian games. It'd be good if they could get to stage 2, cos NZ certainly won't.

    C'mon it was just a draw: 1-1.
But till sofar the most interesting match of this WC in my opinion.
It's amusing to see the programs afterwards, hours and hours filled with discussions about the soccerplayers, their quality, their good or wrong position etc. Well in my opinion this is the best strategic position for the 2010 FIFA WC:

Close, but the beer is actually in the fridge, hence the wife in the kitchen,... close to the beer.

    Being prepared has advantage.

    Slovenia beats Algeria 1-0.

Hardly a great game though, both teams suffered from equal lack of skill. And another massive goalkeeper mistake to decide the game, together with an idiotic red card by the Algerian attacker.

During last night's England v USA match I noted a loud whining noise that seemed to permeate the stadium, I found it quite irritating. At first I thought it was the sound of the England fans but it seems it's actually some stupid kazoo like instrument that's been widely distributed.

It's really doing my nut in.

Currently watching the Serbia-Ghana match and that noise is still active. Highly annoying. AFAIK FIFA is currently investigating to ban them after complains from all possible directions.
