The Iranian parliament has passed a law that would require non-muslims to wear identifying badges. The story is scary enough in itself, if the law is enacted. However, I didn't realize Zoroastrianism as a faith still existed in the world.
Zoroastrianism more or less only exists in Iran. There are other Zoroastrians around the world, but their numbers are very few.
Bear in mind that this is not a new thing. Islam has been doing this for a very long time. Dhimmi can not wear the color green, since that is reserved for Muslims - if they do so, they may be killed. No non-Muslim can be over a Muslim, and any Muslim is superior to any non-Muslim. It's Islamic law.
Must be some way to get back at us (Europe, America,...) for everything we made (and make) them endure.
Just look at France (one close example in know of) and how they have enough of their Muslims. People are complaining all the time.
Here in Switzerland, it was (and still is to some extent) with the refugies from Kosovo that had to come here.
Who in the world eould be so cut off from reality not to believe in the Holocaust (although it's not a belief but a truth ^^).Originally posted by MadamTampini:
Can you believe that some people dont think the Holocaust acually happend?
Can you just mention some people (like where they're from,...) if you know?
That's horrifying. I'm not talking about the Holocaust, (Although it's the most sickening thing I've ever heard about in my entire life) but the fact that some people don't think it's happened. That's sick. It was an incredibly important point in history, and should be taught, showing it's influence on how the world came to be today.
I can understand perfectly why someone would not believe it had happened. (Or not want to believe it happened) However, you just have to teach people these things!
What next? "Oh, the British never invaded US! That's just a silly little rumor!"
There is a natural tendency of humans to ignore things that are uncomfortable or embarrassing. If it's painful to think about, you won't think about it. So I can sort of understand the desire to forget that these things happened. However, there is an old saying: Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. This is one of those cases where it's important to teach what happened, just so people don't let it happen again.
