You don't understand far dry is working when i place file MSVCP71 in Far Cry/Bin32.
that means i can play game offline but i cannot patch it.

Make sure you don't have a patch install stuck in Windows installer with the cleanup utility: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;290301

Also, if you're not using SP2, make sure that you use the latest version of installer (3.1 v2): http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyI...4138c&displaylang=en
