Saw this the other night and surprised that nobodies posted about this film!

Although the description had it as an apparent Love triangle during WWII, I flipped to it and lo and behold Spitfires!

Dealt with the experience of a few Czechoslovakian flyers who escaped their country in the Blitzkreig and flew for the British during WWII. It montaged some BOB, Piece of Cake and New(?) aerial footage but with very good continuity. Most of the story takes place during the Battle of Britain but it does go into post war Europe.

One missed detail was that they showed a photo of an Iowa class BB as a HM ship and in 1940!
    Subtitled, still worth seeing IMHO.

It has been posted about before, but not for a very long time. I still have to find this film. Maybe Netflix will have it.

Good film. End brings home the reality of the sad fate of the Eastern Europeans after the war.

Great movie! (even if they had to cop footage from BOB )

No. It lacks a homoerotic volleyball game.

    cheers

Enjoyed "Dark Blue World" very much, it deserves to be mentioned often. I've watched my copy many many times, hard to get tired of this one.
