I have found this new game about the Pacific war. Since there is a lot less games dedicate to the Pacific Theater. I have decided to post it. Its not a Simulator so it will rival Pacific Fighter but it does a very ambitious approach to gaming . See what you guys think about it.

Looks good, bet it will get torn to shreds by the reality police though.

1C could take some cues from this sim on how to represent the American and Japanese Fleets.

May be, you can give 1C some clues about where they should get some money to build this ships, huh?

I suspect the problem has less to do with money and more to do with due diligence and project management. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say but I would have bolstered my weak knowledge of 3D Studio Max with some serious study if I had known that the ships weren't going to be modelled when PF was started. I would have been happy to volunteer my time and resources for a sim that I believe in. As it is... I found out lack of ships was a problem far too late to make a difference.
Actually SaQSoN... I'd appreciate you checking your PM. I have some questions for you.
Regards, Goshikisen.

Right now, it is money. Game making is a business, and if someone can suggest 1C or Ubi a well profitable venture, featuring additional ships for PF, I bet, they will be interseted.
Or, if we are speaking about a "year before", when the game was in development... Well, there are many circumstances, which led to the situation, we have now with ships (or other things) in the game. Those circumsstances include bad project managment, irresponsible or unskilled modellers, very short development time for such a project, lack of reference (by then), again, lack of funding and many more other problems.
And, finally, when comparing to the "Pacific Storm" title, do not forget, that it is a strategy game. And for this particular genre, absence or presence of certain ground/air/naval unit types may gradually affect gameplay.
For the flight sim game the main focus are, obviously, the air units, while presence or absence of other units affects the gameplay at much lesser scale.
As for my personal opinion, I too regret, that there are no historically correct ships, maps, etc. in the game. But, I know, that currently there is practically no chance for more ships to appear in the game, so there is no need to start it all over again.
Particulary, taking in account, that 1C does have a perfect clues on what should have been, or should be added in the game to make it perfect.
PS Copy on the PM. Answering it right now.
