Yesterday (Jan 25th) and and today's data have not sync-ed. This seems to happen quite a lot. The thing that troubles me most is that when the sync-ing starts again, the days that didn't get uploaded previously are still lost. How is that a "sync"? Surely, once the connection is re-established, ALL data should be the same in the game and on the website?!
For info, I'm always signed in on Xbox Live. I noticed yesterday and today that, on the Xbox, the goal I set up has gone missing (it's there on the website) and the uplay option is now greyed out with a padlock. This was all working 2 days ago.
Does anyone know what's going on? It's shockingly unstable for me and very disappointing that Ubisoft don't seem to have got to grips with basic data synchronisation.

Hope that helps.I have found that if I don't sign in using my Kinect ID before opening the YSFE game that it may not load my workout stats and calories to the website properly. The total calorie count will be uploaded but the details of the workout will not.
To make certain the game knows you're login & online you can touch the blue circle with your left hand in the welcome screen right after the game identifies you. If you see information about your goal, challenge, and friends you are definitely online. If instead you see a message telling you about signing up for yourshapecenter.com than the game thinks you are not online. If this should happen it's best to exit the game, make sure you are signed in using your Kinect ID and then open the game again and once again touch the blue circle to see if you're seeing your goal etc. information.

Thanks. It kind of worked, but you are saying that even though before I start YSFE I am signed in on the Xbox, I need to go specifically to the Kinect Signin and then start the game?! Seems like significant a bug to me...
Also, having done all that, the website still does not reflect the past 3 days of workouts, so my total and my goal is screwed.
Like I said before Ubisoft need to sort out this very basic aspect of data synchronisation - it just doesn't work properly. Either that or just dump the website.
Have you created a Kinect ID for yourself? When you have a Kinect ID all you have to do is turn on your XBox, wait for the sensor to "wake up", then when you see your gray and ghostly image in the lower right corner wave your right hand at it. The sensor will recognize you and automatically sign you in. Once you are signed in this way you should not have any problem with YSFE recognizing you and being online within YSFE.
This is the way I have signed in since getting my Kinect, except for a couple of time at the beginning or when I was distracted. I actually learned about it in a discussion in the Xbox Kinect forums about people having problems being recognized by their Kinect Adventures game. So it's actually a Kinect thing rather than a YSFE problem. Kinect games seem to want to "see" you rather than have you signin in the conventional way.
Also if you are signed in using your Kinect ID if you leave the room and come back while you're in the Kinect Hub you'll see a message that says "Welcome back [yourgametag]!"
Unfortunately, if you do a workout and YSFE doesn't think you're online the workout details will not show up online and that will effect your goals and challenges. However, your total calorie count that shows up on the website will be corrected the next time you're online within the game.
Right, so if for whatever reason I am disconnected from Ubisoft's servers then I lose that day's data - is that what you mean? The game doesn't send that data when it next connects?
Just to clarify, the game ALWAYS recognises me via Kinect and I am ALWAYS online via Xbox Live. It seems from my point of view that Ubisoft's servers must be having intermittent problems, which kind of means that goals & challenges are effectively useless if this continues.
BTW, my total calorie count is also wrong, despite being connected earlier today! The difference being yesterday and the day before's workout totals.
Well, guess what! Mine is not syncing now either. I'm very careful about how I login and I'm certain I was logged in this morning for my workout. But my last sync on the website is yesterday's.
Sad thing is, since I'm one of the ones effected by the XBox not saving game bug, the daily sync was the last thing that was actually working for me. Now I can workout and enjoy the workout but there is absolutely on record of it anywhere - not on my console and not on the website![]()
I couldn't stand it any longer. After doing my regular daily workout and not having it saved or even synced to the website, I decided to copy my YSFE saved game to a USB drive, delete it on my console HDD and start over again. If the bug ever gets fixed I still have a copy of the saved game. Anyway I went back into the game retook the fitness test and started the tedious task of unlocking everything again. Just to make sure I closed the game down every so ofter to make sure calories and other progress were being saved. So far so good. All my Xbox achievements are still there. The progress I made since starting new is now syncing to the website and even adding to the goal and challenge I had going - which it a little weird. My total calories will probably just sit where they are until the game catches up with them, oh well. At least now I don't feel like the game is completely dead to me.
