    Icons don't look very realistic but they serve a function for those of us who have older video cards and therefore are forced to run at a low resolution. I kind of hate icons, but feel for me they are necessary or I'll be too disadvantaged in my offline campaigns. For one thing, my AI buddies would have a greater tendency to get to the enemy fighters before I could get to them. Therefore I'd rarely get a kill, since the AI can "see" better than me without the icons. I'd be desparately looking around for bandits while they'd already be on their tails shooting them down. I say icons may be a necessary evil for some of us.

    Didn't edit because of your post Balrog. Made a couple of posts to illustrate the absurdity of some of the arguments for/against "full real", padlock, etc. In hindsight was probably poor judgement, apologies to those who took it the wrong way.
