I bought this game hoping to get in shape. I'm doing sculpting 1.1....I have completed all 6 sessions twice. For some reason, I can not unlock sculpting 1.2...It is really aggravating and I am ready to give up and just use a workout dvd where I can advance on my own accord. Some exercises the game gives me 100%, and some it gives me 10% even though I am doing exactly as the trainer. How can I advance to scultping 1.2 or 1.3? How long will it take? I dont want to be doing scultping 1.1 anymore
I've called ubisoft technical support and they have no answers for me and wont give me a refund. I've re calibrated my kinect many times.
Please tell me how you unlocked your next level and what your score % to do so.

Unfortunately nobody here can give you a precise answer. What I can tell you from experience is that you *will* eventually unlock it if you keep going. How soon depends on what sort of scores you get (we think!). If you keep getting 10%s, it will take longer. I had to go through cardio fully about 2 times and change to unlock the next level. There are certain exercises that I just don't seem able to get it to accept that I am doing right, and other exercises where I find it difficult to get all the body parts to do the right thing! So cardio advances slowly for me. Now, toning is no problem... Your mileage will vary. I will speculate that once you can get over 50% you should make progress.

Thanks for the reply. I dont mean to come across as a complainer. I really want to like this game and I think it has so much potential. However, I called ubisoft and the rep said if I keep scoring 10% I will never advance to the next level. Unfortunately, no matter what I do I can not score higher than 10% on certain exercises. Maybe I just dont have enough room because I suspect the Kinect can't see my feet. I hope you are right that eventually I will progress otherwise this game has no use to me.

Am I missing something here? Where is this 1.1 and 1.2 that you refer to on the XBox/Kinect "YSFE" game? I know that I can select the "Sculpting" session (which really doesn't have a time limit) and do as many exercises as I want there, but I have never really seen the "1.1" or "1.2", etc. that you are referring to. So...I'm confused...I think.

Since there is no real user's manual, and since the interface is totally opaque, it is no surprise if you are missing things.
And this particular item is easy to miss. Here are the detailed instructions.
From "Activity Selection" pick "Personal Training". Then pick "Start Training" followed by "Choose Session". You should then see the list of standard types: Cardio, Toning, Sculpting. Pick one. That will take you to the detailed list of sessions, and shows you what is locked and what is unlocked. For example, I am currently "beginner" for Cardio due to the test program not registering my exercises, which started me at Cardio 1.1. I have since unlocked Cardio 1.2. So what I see is:
Cardio 1.1 (unlocked)
Cardio 1.2 (unlocked)
Cardio 1.3 (locked)
Cardio 2.1 (locked) and so on through Cardio 3.3
If I pick Cardio 1.2, then I can select which actual session to start on (1-9) and a brief list of the first two or three exercises for the session.
Since I am able to get all the toning exercises to register, I am considered "advanced" for toning. (This is nonsense of course, it simply depends on what you can get the game to give you credit for, which is largely determined by things like your lighting and how well they tuned any given exercise to the sensor.) So I am unlocked through Toning 3.1, with Toning 3.2 and 3.3 still locked. I guess 3.3 is as far as the game can go in any of these areas.
What I can not yet confirm from personal experience is whether you will ever progress from 1.3 to 2.1 just by repetition. I am assuming that you can, based on the flimsy evidence that I did eventually advance from 1.1 to 1.2 after going through all of the sessions a couple of times.

One way to unlock more things for certain is to redo the Fitness Quiz and do better than you did before. I just did it and got Advanced on Cardio (was Beginner) and Trained on Toning (was Beginner) and when I look at Cardio options in Choose a Session, I see everything unlocked up to 3.1 (which is labeled Advanced). I would assume that I can unlock 3.2 and 3.3 by doing them well any number of times. In Toning, I have everything up to 2.1 unlocked (which is labeled Trained). I can also say that during the Fitness Quiz, I was made to do an exercise in Cardio that I didn't have to do before: a jog while flapping my arms. So the Fitness Quiz only tests you to your limit. Also interesting is the fact that that jog doesn't seem to be found anywhere else in the game if posts on these forums are to be believed.

The flying job, if that's what you're meaning, is part of the Nice & Easy 12 session program.
