Now that looks like a pretty green city.

By the looks of it,me guesses that living there is more expensive than in other cities in Thailand ?

It's cheaper than Bangkok, ****et and Pattaya that's for sure, but it's still a very popular tourist destination so prices hold up well in high season (November - March). Outside of that they crash. Lovely and cool up there in the winter months...

When I took this pic we were only halfway up the mountain. The very top was in the clouds!

    Looks very nice!

    Here's an interesting stalagmite-like formation by Foe's neighbor's house.

Built up from water vapor of a gas heater exhaust

The girls that go to the Rennaissance Fair by me don't look anything like this.

Could it be that the two girls confused the Rennaissance Fair with the Lord of the Rings Fair ?

Im not sure .. but i dont think that we had elves running around here during the Rennaissance

People actually looked more like this

The one on the photo above is Johannes Kepler who lived during the late Rennaissance.

Last night, Europe's second automatic transfer vehicle which carries his name was launched to the ISS with 6.6 tons of supplies.
The second largest space vessel after the Space Shuttle

I believe Nasa also named a space telescope after him.

Some pics of my wife's village in Surin Province, NE Thailand.

This the main street. Her father's house is the one with the broadcast tower. He is the head-man of the village.

This is the 'house' that Papa built for her. She is very proud of it. She said "Would you like to see inside?" I took one look at the stairs and, seeing as then I weighed about 105 kilos (230 pounds) and I also knew it was full of chickens, I tactfully declined. "I don't think those stairs would take my weight, darling." My missus is the one in the red tee-shirt.

This is the swamp next to her 'house'. Place was thick with mosquitoes.

A closer view of the tower. The village has electricity (sometimes) but no running water or telephone lines. Her father broadcasts anything of importance the villagers need to know.

This is her Papa. A really nice fellow. He's only 52 but looks much older because of years of back-breaking work under a blazing sun in the rice paddies.
