    @ Foe

    Yes when you take the electricity and/or heat from a oil, coal or gas powerplant.

    But if you create the hydrogen by electrolysis and use electricity from a water power plant or solar panels ....

    Then you will get yelled at by environmentalists when your dams flood land, destroy forests with native species, impede flow of fish, etc etc, and solar panels displace native fauna.

    And besides, you need to mine and manufacture a whole lot of things to make the panels

    And let's face it, anything you try will get you yelled at by someone... be it destroying a wetland by a dam or displacing a local population of sun-loving desert mice, which can't tolerate the shade from solar panels

    aren't they so cute??

    I sure do. And im glad its mostly over now. Just to go over to the super market was kind of an Indiana Jones style adventure here in Celeon post socialist neighbourhood.

    But its always much worse when the snow is gone because then the thick layers of ice underneath come to light and people start falling on their butts everywhere you look.

    Have you seen the situation in the USA ? We were still much better off then they are at the moment.

    Enough of the snow pics already! You're making me feel cold. Wish I was back in sunny Thailand, talking of which...

    Bali Hai Pier, Pattaya.

    How many Thais can you fit on one scooter?

    Over there the 'sharks' are on land, not in the water.

    @Foe

    Did you see the pic I posted of a giant scorpion statue? It's on the last page of 'A Picture a Day' part three.
