Is there a way to remove the extra (immersion) radio messages? I only want the ones that deal with what's actually happening or the ones that give me orders. All the extras just get in the way and slow down my game (dropping speed to 1 when at 512, ex.)

    Hi,

This mod was recommended to me after I bought SH3 on steam. Now I've downloaded all the sections of the mod and the executable file. Yet whenever I run the installation it says that there are Modded files detected yet there aren't. I even un-installed and ran the mod installer over a fresh install of SH3 and still the same message. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the SH Forums, Fangar. Happy to have you aboard.

You don't mention whether you have patched your copy of SHIII up to v1.4b. You need to do that before installing GWX.

You might be doing this already but I'll mention it anyway. All files for GWX must be in the same location or folder when installing. Meaning a seperate folder other than the folder where you have SHIII installed.

In addition to the sound advice given by Tambor, you can also click on the GWX website link (below my sig) where you will find comprehensive installation instructions.

I think the steam version is already patched with 1.4b.

I have a new fresh load of SH3 on my Win 7 OS (64bit) computer. I have followed the instructions on how to load it and everything works fine. I have also loaded Sub commander and it also works fine. However when I try to load GWX3 I get an error saying what directory is disk 7 located in? Am I loading the wrong version?

    any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks

If you are using the 7 bin files plus 1 exe file version of GWX ensure that the exe file has the '.exe' extension and put all 8 files into an empty folder before double clicking on the exe file.

The programme should then ask you to point it to your parent/game folder location and the installer should take care of everything else.

    Hi
I heard about this add-on from an Amazon review, but all the download links I try produce a 'file not found' message from filefront.

Have these files now been removed?
AM I able to download them from anywhere else?

    Many thanks
