OMFG, someone please tell me to stop using Filefront. I only downloaded the first 4 parts, and I already have 25 adwares, and that stupid fake trojan popup that refuses to go away. System restore it is, it seems.

Could someone who's more successful sometime burn these things on a CD so I don't have to format my hard drive trying to get all parts??

Great news! I've been awaiting the release of this new GWX before I reformat my game rig.

Foehammer, are you using an anti-spyware program? I use Webroot's "SpySweeper." Best antispyware program I have ever used, but it is not a free app. Still, it is not very expensive.

P.S. I am using Bit Torrent to download it all at once. It'll take longer that way, but it can take place unattended while I spend time with the family today.

I didn't know that anybody ever had a problem with filefront. I just use a free antivirus program and have never had any issues with that site.

Many thanks to the GWX crew. GWX was the first mod I ever played on SH3 and it continues to be the best in my opinion. Again, great work and many thanks. Merry Christmas to all.

Well, need some help again. After 6 and a half hours of removing the spyware and viruses I got from downloading the 4 parts, I opened the site with Firefox, AVG antivirus and Spybot running.

After denying 16 cookies from obviously bad origins, I get a "Your download has failed. You have an invalid session set. Click here to try your download again."

The Click Here brings me to the same spot.

Any clues? I really don't feel like wasting 6 hours again

I would say you've somehow allowed
bad stuff in.

Only thing I use ia AVG 8 Free version.
And I have never had any problems.

Are you the only user of your system?

I ask because people with one system
that allow thier children to use it
seem to suffer this type issue
on a daily basis.

Armor2net firewall is very good at stopping all the fun stuff that tries to get through. Thanks GWX team, even with my older machine it works beautifully.

Yeah, the bloody thing does the same sentence for the second link as well...

And I REALLY don't want to allow cookies from that site anymore...

Guess I'll have to wait for more dependable host site, if there is one
