There is. You have to use the laugh emote on your character 50 times. I tried doing as many times as I could and the next thing I knew I had the Drama Queen badge(that's the real name).

Actually yea that's what I did too! also when in challenges you had to trade stuff I would just give it to people and it should work

The Savvy Shopper badge is not yet available because one of the vendors, Anna B., Is not available yet.

For those who asked: Savvy Shopper is supposed to be gotten for visiting 5 Shop Vendors within 15 minutes.

And list of badges I have and how to get them:
Welcome to the Island - Do the tutorial when you first join.
Pen Pal, Silver Tongue, Email Master - Send lots of messages through your My-Link.
Gossip Girl - Talk a lot to people with the normal chat system.
Social Butterfly, Little Miss Popular, Socialite - Add lots of friends.
Up and Coming Chef - Do the first chef challenge.
A Gardener is Born! - Do the first gardening challenge.
Dancing to Fame - Do the first dancing challenge.
She's Got the Look - Learning to Model.
Foot in the Door - Either it's do all 3 normal challenges in each or just earn the badge for each.
Passion Prodigy, Unstoppable, Bring it On! - Do lots of challenges. You can repeat challenges by rebuying them for 20 Gems.
Flower Power - Plant 30 Plants as a Gardener.
Dishing it Out - As a Chef, head into the restaurant and click the serving tray, then serve the food off it onto the various plates. You can pick the food back up and keep reserving the same thing if you want rather than making 20-30 food items.
Master of Moves - As a Dancer, you will get a book to make Dancer Choreographies. Create 20 of them.
Fabric Fashionista - Make 20-30 clothes using the sewing machine as a Fashion Designer.
Fashion Trailblazer - Make 20-30 designs using the design table.
It Girl, Celebrity, Superstar! - Get lots of fame. I believe you need about 1.5K for the last one.
Card Champ - Get lots of cards. When you repeat challenges, you can also re-get the fame, cards, and/or moves you would get from it until you have them all. There's 12 challenge cards for each talent. The other 8 cards are based off your level with that talent.
Tourist - Use the map and travel to one or two other places.
Globetrotter - Visit every place on the map at least once.
Local Hot Spot - Go to the picnic mats at the Gardens.
The Place to Be - Go to the Ice-Cream stand by the Modeling Agency.
Landmark Explorer - Go upstairs in the Fashion Center and over to the Purple statue. (Feel free to click it if you'd like)
Super Salesgirl, Merchant of Goods, Trading Tycoon - Trade a lot.
Feels like Home - The best way to get this is to remove all the furniture in your room then slowly re-add everything until it unlocks. Exact amount of furniture needed is unknown, but I was able to get it with the starter stuff and the stuff from the Home World Challenge
Game Pro - Play every day for a week, though, I've heard some people saying they got it from logging out then back in.
Reviewed - Rate 100 People.
Drama Queen - Use the Laughing action (When you click your person and hit the emotes--the laughing one) 50 times.
40 Badges - Earn 40 Badges
Party's Here - Have at least 5 people in your room.
Music - Change the music in your room. You can change it back after the badge unlocks if you liked the original music.

Plus ones I don't have, but some info on how to get them or how I think you would:
Road to Success - No confirmation on it, but I believe it's to get up one level (or hit max level) in each talent.
Silver Diamond, Gold Diamond - Being a Diamond Member for 6 and 12 months respectively.
Cosmopolitan - Do lots of World Activities. Right now, there's only 2 non-Diamond ones so...
Smarty Pants - Do lots of quizzes... At the moment, there aren't enough for this badge.
Point of View - Same as above, but with Polls instead of Quizzes.
Happy Feet - Same as the Master of Moves Badge, but for Models. Book isn't available yet.
Testers Badge - Be a Beta Tester. I'm guessing we'll all get this when the game goes up.
Savvy Shopper - Mentioned above.
Professional - Get a talent item for your room. You need to be a Diamond Member for this.

They are not adding anything, they are fixing the filter, which was broken.
