If some of you have been folowing Kotaku and Gamerbytes (or just the net in general), you may have seen that USK (a german rating system) anounced a rayman for DSi-ware. Both Kotaku and Gamerbytes don't know if its a new entry or just the first rayman. Ubisoft still has not anounced the game, so we still don't know if its a platformer or party game. OH and I got the sources ofcourse if you don't believe me.

Rather have a minigames collection than a remake to be honest, what this series desperately needs is some fresh blood.

I think it is some sort of hint for a new rayman game. It is just a thought so I don't expect that much.

Well think about it this way - Rayman Advance and Rayman DS were absolute garbage as direct ports and thanks to them I don't want to see anymore handheld ports. In an ideal world, this would be like Rayman 3 on the GBA.

Ya, maybe if rayman can come to DSI he will gain popularity to get a new GOOD rayman game.

Good news to hear after all the **** that had been going on with the Rayman series. I'd indeed like it to be a new 'randomized' platformer like Rayman 3 for GBA was. And if they do a remake, then they better spend time on the developement. The DS/GBA platform is in fact a stand-alone engine thus simply porting PC and PS1 content is not possible, that's why Rayman Advance was so horrible, and RaymanDS so poor.

I think I'll have to save my money now for a DSi.
