Anyone who is short (with even shorter legs) have issues with squats and lunges? I don't get credit for them unless I put my knee on the floor (how is that good exercising?) and squats don't register unless I touch my butt to the floor. Tempted to delete my profile and rescan my body to see if that helps but it seems like an extreme thing...

I recalibrate the Kinect every time I play and NO OTHER Kinect games I play (including dance central, dance masters, kinect adventures) have any issues with tracking, besides the occasional missing feet (don't wear black socks) and never need kinect calibration...

Recalibrating your Kinect can never hurt in getting accuracy.

Admittedly I'm about 6 feet tall, but I used to have similar problems and got really annoyed with lunges not registering properly. The trainer kept telling me to go lower with the lunge, or some other useless advice. However, I score around 100% on them all the time now. I have found that it has nothing to do with with how low your "lunging" leg goes, rather how straight your other leg is.

If you're doing a front lunge then make sure that when you move to the upright position your trailing leg is locked out straight. Similarly if you're doing the side lunge, keep your non-lunging leg straight as you bend your knee and lower into the lunge with your other leg and try to keep it straight as you raise yourself up again.

With squats, I found that keeping your legs a small distance apart helps. In other words, do not let your feet or knees touch.

    I hope that helps.
