    Air Ministry Numbers

    A Brief Introduction
    Air Ministry (or AM) numbers were allocated to Luftwaffe aircraft at their place of surrender in Germany or Denmark. On an airfield containing literally hundreds of German aircraft, this designation ensured that set aside aircraft were not destroyed.

    I wonder what the russians got, theres so many essential german aircraft that should become flyable. This list of allied ac is overwhelming compaired to the axis sets.

    LeadSpitter_ ... Very little in depth info is to be found about German Aircraft capture or taken as War Booty by the Soviet Army after WW2.
    I'm sure it's out there though... just need a little more research.
