With all these known issues, how exactly is it that this game has made release status.
It would seem that one of my biggest fears is coming to light, and that is this, xbox Live is not an excuse to ignore quality control and release merchandise that clearly is not ready for the consumer only to be "PATCHED" at a later date. HIRE MORE GAME TESTERS!! Sure this game is some technical world wonder, but that is still no excuse for crappy Testing and Programming!
They need to stop hiring grandmothers like Bungie did to test out their new Dual Wielding feature. With all these known issues, how exactly is it that this game has made release status.

lol...both of the games mentioned will be #1 and #2 on xboxlive for the forseeable future...I think GR:AW plays great, GR2 was a mess.
You simply cannot hire enough testers to replicate what happens when an enormous amount of people buy the game and begin logging hundreds of thousands of hours playing, inevitably they will find things they can exploit, it's inevitable, I cant think of a single PC or Console game with a big MP component that hasnt had to be patched at some point.
Then again, there are some blatant issues that should have been addressed, ones that do not require testing. Such as: more options for non-online gamers; clan support; access to all weapons all the time; access to all team mates all the time; smarter team AI; south paw; programming that over arcaded the game. I honestly think they did the best they were willing to do. The game was ready in November-2005, my take is that they delayed it for reasons related to too many changes to the game-play style â€" and not the features and functions.
And oh yeah - there is no "certification." No one has oversight over these game develoeprs. They create what they want and know that we will buy it with the right marketing and advertisement.

I don't believe Operation Flashpoint: Elite has been patched or even needed a patch, yet. (No, the game is not a port. It is an engine rebuild from scratch.)Originally posted by ollie3856:
