I really love Your Shape. It's been great fun. But now that I am using it more seriously as a fitness tool I've come across some things I would like to see implemented. For one thing, I'd love a feature that allows me to track performance over time. For example, if I do a cardio session and get 70% on the exercises, then over time I get to a point where I can do the same workout at 95%. It would be encouraging to be able to see that improvement graphically. It isn't enough to see that just for today I got them 100% - I want to see just how much better that means I have become. This could be an update downloaded to my Xbox OR a tool on the website. Either way it would be helpful.

Another thing I would like to see is more options for challenging friends. For now all you can do is try to beat each other's calorie scores. I think it would be fun to challenge friends to particular workouts, or particular percentages. For example, challenge a friend to get 95% or better on Cardio Boxing Gold for 12 workouts - first one there wins. Or challenge each other to beat scores in the gym games - that would be a blast! We all know the point of exercise to lose weight is to burn calories. We don't need a constant reminder. I say make it more fun with some variety!

Also, as far as the percentages go, sometimes in a workout there are four or five exercises but the summary at the end only ever shows the percentages for two of them. Could the devs maybe put in a button that lets me scroll through the other, presumably hidden, percentages for the other exercises?

Next, I need an abs workout. I don't mind paying for it, so please make one! For now, I do a separate DVD, but since I'm in a competition with a friend right now I sort of begrudge that time because those calories don't "count" toward my challenge. I know, it's silly. But still, please make an abs workout.

And finally, I know Your Shape comes with a warning about doctor's advice and isn't intended for people of limited mobility. To that I say - why not? Couldn't Ubisoft get a physical therapist to create a few workouts for people with mobility issues? A lot of the workouts now contain too many bouncy/jumpy movements for people with a bad knee or a bad back - and I have both such persons in my household. They'd love to play, but find most of the workouts very difficult. I would be willing to pay for a pack that includes several workouts that are toned down for mobility-limited individuals but still fun and challenging, and I bet I'm not the only one. Such a feature would probably increase the fan base of the game and sell more copies, so it's a win-win situation.

Thanks for listening, and keep up the good work!

LauraChapman, I enjoyed your post and I think all your idea suggestions are great. I especially like the idea about tracking the workout percentages and improvement over time. I have also been wanting a way to compete and challenge friends is ways other than calories.

    like to see impl
Great suggestion, i would also buy a ABS workout routine. Another routine which I would love to see added is a chest workout routine. I love the DLC route and can only imagine what this game can be expanded to.

On the personal training side. I have been using a personal trainer at a gym studio for a considerable amount of time. A short while ago i decided to terminate the contract and gym from my home gym. I added youshape to my home gym as I thought it could really assist me.

Well, its addictive, so it more than assits me, i use it now for basically my complete workout "minus abs and chest..".

From a personal training perspective. Can we please have a recommended calories to burn each day visible somewhere based on our length, weight and fitness level?

Another addition could also be a updated personal training experience where you almost get a tailor made program where you know if i do "todays activities" then im done. Currently we have to manage this on our own, figuring out day to day what we should do? And we all know that from a muscle growth perspective thats not going to work?

Anywayz. Again. thanks for a great product, was definitely worth more than its retail price Thanks

I really love my Your Shape too. Some suggestions I have are that you make the words easier to read. I think white letters on a neon background with such small text is difficult to read, let alone my dad! I think he would really like it better than the wii fit board (which I don't like him trying to stand on at his age) but I am not sure that he could read the directions.

I would also love an ab work out. I do one, but it would be sweet if it counted toward my calorie counter!

I would also like it if you could select your performance level more easily and select the option to do the entire routine in that level with out having to return to the selection screen in between. Select cardio: (if all levels have been unlocked) select level and complete entire class.

Another motivating feature would be a split screen to allow you to see your competitor or competitors as you compete with them.
