I am currently on memory 5 sequence 3 (not too far along past the horse chase with Leonardo Da Vinci), actually went to a couple of Viewpoints in Venice, and completed an assassin's tomb. Then I quit the game.

I started it up again and it only lets me load some save from tuscany, memory 3....anyways, hours and hours behind where I currently am. When I check my DNA, it says that I'm up to where I should be (showing I completed 5-3) and when I try to load the memory, it tells me I need to be at a memory start to load it (not exact words). Am I missing something here? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

You could check the other AC2 lost saves threads and find there is no solution to this problem yet.
Steam forums on AC2 are the same-- Zilch. I wonder how many Lost saves entries in this forum does it take to find an answer/solution?
