It has been over a month since this topic was first breached by Sorlim. Still no list and just like the Ubisoft there will always be an excuse. If you really want a decent MOD list check out the one that Eoweth put together, in one thread he/she actually states which ones he/she uses, I followed most of his reccomendations and as a result this game is mostly playable. THANKS EOWETH!Originally posted by arcticspyder:

Hi all,
A question for Sorlim. (ComDev)
How are we progressing with getting together the 'First Aid' Mod pack that you discussed in an earlier discussion?
I know others have made great suggestions for useable mods, but i would like to see what you recommend as a collection of 'fixes'.
Patiently awaiting a reply.
Good Luck and Good Hunting! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Arcticspyder,
Yes i have now seen a list posted by Eoweth with recommended mods. Thanks.
Maybe i am a little naive, but I am hoping that the developers are able to put in some time and "clean up" SH5 code errors. Full respect to the mod crew, but i would like to see the problems solved at the source.
The way i see it i am prepared to wait and see and if Sorlim and the devs. don't come through, the available mods would have been continually improving and will bring SH5 up to and beyond the standard it should have been at release.

You obviously have no genuine knowledge and understanding of computer security.
I don't have time to give a course over here, but I'll simply say that disabling AV and firewall while connected to the Internet is just asking for trouble, plain and simple.
Ubisoft, your employer, has already demonstrated its total despise of customers in general, but especially PC ones, when it inserted a rootkit-based technology called StarForce in its games in the past.
Now, for its sloppily coded, non-optimized, buggy, and glitchy software to run at higher than minable frame rate, and for its nasty DRM technology to operate without interference of any kind, this company simply and shamelessly recommend to its PC customers to disable both the anti-virus and firewall while connected to the Internet...
This company is dreadful beyond any description!

They are fully booked (overtime, even) and they couldn't do anything except just a few hours of mod testing during their own free time. It's actually what I'm doing too.Slight self-contradiction but anyways...Originally posted by sorlim:
I'm really the only person that's working on it and I have to test and also see how I may package it all.
Now we have a proof that we have not been shunned to the side and that SH5 has not been abandoned. Ubisoft has not turned its back on the community (quote).
The only UBI employee ''working'' on SH5 is a ComDev that patiently collect and test mods on his own free (and unpaid) time.
That's truly awesome! Where can I pre-order SH6 to show Ubisoft how much I appreciate its amazing dedication toward its customers?
