Saturday has brought us three encouraging steps being taken by Ubisoft. First, is that the website is back up and operational; The second and far more important step is that updates started to be posted in several forums and on their Facebook site by Ubisoft personnel acknowledging that they are aware of the many problems and that they are working on them. The third is that I got an email early this morning from the company regarding the Your Shape™ Calorie Crushing Challenge website problems. Again they acknowledged the problem, stated they are working on it, and recognize that many people are not able to participate so they suspending the contest and will restart it when everyone can participate. These are all good signs. I sincerely hope that the company has learned some important lessons from the past several days and that Ubisoft will continue and even increase their efforts to keep their customers informed when problems come up. I'm cautiously optimistic that the company may be turning the corner with regards to its customer relationship efforts. Only time tell for sure; so please keep up the communications Ubisoft!
