As once been said in the past to you.....BUBBISH! Go back and start all over! Stripes too wide, in the wrong place, and no chess pieces to play with! what kind of a nutso skinner are you anyway!

I was gonna do one next after my P-51B project, but no....ya had gone on and started all this mess!

Kidding aside, I agree with everyone else, ya doing a sweet job!

With a lot more ground work done and with FF's help things are a lot closer then they were.
Probably doesn't look like it but they are . . .

I'd rather have one set of lines and rivets that work with both Olive and Metal P-47's and I think I'm about there. Everything will be layered anyway, so it will be down to skinners to mess with these to get their own style.

I also through the template onto the 27 to see how things would look and as you can see, not a disaster yet. I'll check my books to see if this needs additional layers or not.

    So to the pics . . .

Smashing! If you gonna release that template, I'm gonna call you my best friend! :P

The more I see, the more me likes it too. I also agree about the seperate rivets and lines for Bare Metal and Cammo. No matter how you try, it's allot easier having these seperate.

In fact, I would have made one template just for cammo and another for Bare Metal skins just to make things more optimum for each one due to the weathering and wear and tear effects.
