My favorite is the Kalamazoo Air Zoo, cause they have a place full of air planes, from the wright brothers to the Red Baron, to even a real Black Bird! They have simulators and everything, and then they have a building full of wwii airplanes with some that you can go into the cockpits.

Hmm...Duxford for me. They've so much stuff even I was 'airplaned out' by the end of it. I haven't been to Hendon for over 20 years but I recollect it being pretty special too. The Yorkshire Air Museum gets a mention, it has some fine exhibits including a Victor that trundles about the place making lots of noise, and they have a good airshow at the end of August every year, although now I'm down in benighted Wiltshire I haven't been for a while.

Duxford. The biggest aviation museum in Europe with a huge collection of planes. The only place outside the USA that exhibits a B-52, B-29 and SR-71. Also a Lancaster, two B-17s ( one airworthy ), a B-24, U-2, A-10, F-111, F-15, F-4s, and a whole load of British and European military and civil planes. My slice of heaven on earth!
