looks like their will be no console cap at all..
they say it theirselfs...
Game for consoles need to be balanced .
IF UBISOFT implements a 50 pop cap on 2 vs 2 in RUSE there will be no balance.
u cannot spend ur money because ur on max cap.
maps will be to big. everybody plays german because u have money 2 spend and want good troops. u cannot turttle because u reach max cap fast ext ext.
again nuclear u say confirmed a few days ago no one knew it would come...and again everyone played beta or pc demo(most people) so if u see no cap u guess with what they say their will be no cap .offcourse pc is stronger i know but 60 units come on... i bet they can make this stuff run with a much higher cap...they had the chance to give rts on consoles another go but kinda they are failing.
I feel your pain, but the unit limit for 1v1 is 100, 2v2 is a dissappointing, but alright 50.Originally posted by Astrok:

I'm not really sure what they can do to get any more units out of the game. The two major limitations on how many units you can have in an RTS are Pathfinding (handled by the processor) and the actual presence of the unit (handled by the RAM); although you can make pathfinding more and more low cost, theres only so far you can go with the RAM bottleneck.
I can understand why they have a pop cap but why only mention this now, if memory serves they mentioned that you could have hundreds of units on the field...what els arent they mentioning. This game was supposed to be massive battles on massive maps, they never only used a 100 units during the normandy dday invasion...maby ill wait for some reveiws before buying...
