well some games have a limitation. Endwar on the other hand had a way of limiting by making slots

I guess there wont be a limitation, as any strategy can be easily stopped. And if you have enough money, time and a stupid enough enemy. Then why not.

Even if you don't, if you manage to actually get to such a sized army in multiplayer, it must have been worth it anyway.

i will love to build a mass of Tanks and planes to crush the enemy and use tons of random ruses in order to crush the enemy in just a matter of 30 mins or less

No known limit - seen some players post some crazy stuff, 100's of admin buildings and unit stacks to the ceilings. Guess the limit is how much your machine can handle. For fun I just played a game and left one enemy scout on the map and built 580 bombers. Filled the map with airports. Selecting all the planes though kind of stunk cause you can only add one at a time using the V key I think. Sent them to one side of the map and my SLI GTX 285's started to have graphic tearing. Poor cards !

yeah man i think thats the problem for the PC. but therefore for the xbox, no limit can lag the machine but i doubt that 1000 units and a map full of tanks will not lag the xbox

Yes, only for PS3 and 360. Their is a unit limit in multiplayer and single player... unfortunatly....
