Could you imagine doing this every time you fly in SOW:BOB? May get very tedious...

Could you imagine doing this every time you fly in SOW:BOB? May get very tedious...Personally i would love the option of being able to do it all. After all if this sim is going to be realistic it should be available for those that want to use it.Don't forget you need'nt ever start the engine yourself, thats what the groundcrew did during scrambles whilst the pilot got into the plane and was buckled in

Don't remove options from those that want them, just be able to simplify for your own personal use.![]()
Today, pilots have a paper checklist to work from. This avoids memory failures!
In WW2 IIRC the checks were from memory involving pneumonics.

Who knows what Oleg is up to.
At least it's a very interesting video and it really is an eyeopener to the many skinners that still think you can see the internal structure on the surfaces normally covered by the control-surfaces....![]()

and this?

True, but you find after doing it quite a few times you know what to do without the checklist. I can still go through the start up checks for the Vigilant Motor glider and I've not flown one for years! lol.Originally posted by MB_Avro_UK:

Wouldn't mind the option of being able to do it, but it is a lot slower and more cumbersome to have to use a mouse because you can't flick the switches.
